SCOTUS Denies Mexican Killer's Request for Execution Stay
U.S. Supreme Court Denies Mexican National Killer's Request for Execution Stay

The U.S. Supreme Court denied a Mexican man's request for an execution stay in Texas, calling his argument meritless.
Humberto Leal, 38, a Mexican national and convicted murder, has since been moved to a holding cell a few steps away from the Texas death chamber, an indicator that he is hours away from the lethal injection cocktail.
He is set to die in Huntsville for the 1994 brutal rape and murder of 16-year-old Adria Sauceda, of San Antonio. President Obama, the State Department and Mexican authorities have all asked Texas for a last-minute reprieve of Leal, citing the U.N.-enforced 1963 Vienna Treaty, which requires foreign nationals who are arrested in foreign countries the right to access their consulates.
The White House is pleading for a stay in the case that has pitted Texas justice against international treaty rights.

Texas houses 15 of the more than 50 Mexican national death row inmates listed in an International Court of Justice opinion that determined the United States violated their rights when local law enforcement didn’t inform them of the right to call the Mexican consulate.

If you have a dog and it lays around all day never bothering nobody, but one day its bites someone they already want to put the dog to death because its an animal, the persons that commit these type of crimes are animals and should be put to death they are no better than a dog.Put him to death.Im a firm believer in the death penalty why feed and house these kind of criminals at taxpeyers expense.Give them 3 apeals then put em down thats more chances than a dog would get.

Here in the US we allow Prisoners to have visitors. If the Mexican Consulate was so concerned then why didn't they send someone to visit this guy when he was going through all his appeals? Notice that they waited until the last second to try and complain.

This is the media's political posturing for Rick Perry. Mr. Perry cannot stop his execution. The Texas Board of Paroles and Pardons is the only one that could stop his exexution. The Media and the GOP know Romney is in the tank and they are going to throw everything they have got to Rick Perry, who happens to be a George Bush clone. Don't believe the crap they are putting out there about a rift between the two. It is BS, pure and simple. They are scared to death of Michele Bachmann and it is beginning to show.
