I wonder what the average total cost to taxpayers amounts to for each alien with a final order of removal. The figure should include expenses they cause untilthey are finally put back were they came from. They must have had a number of run ins with the law before getting sent home.

I'm glad that we are finally addressing the problem with these ICE Fugitive Teams, but wouldn't it make more sense to do worksite raids, where you could get 20 to 50 at a time, for example? And then find a way to detain them until they have their court date (if they aren't immediately deportable?) In doing worksite raids, you're bound to find criminal and fugitive illegal aliens anyway. It seems like going house to house or apartment to apartment is painstakingly slow and somewhat inefficient. If the team is only targeting 3 or 4 people per day, times 5 days, that's not alot of illegals (and the backlog is over 630,000.)
Detainment is a big problem too. If these people were just detained until they had their court date, we'd get them out of the country faster. Get the 1st and 2nd time users (not dealers) of marijuana and other drugs out of the detention centers and jails, and put the illegals in there.
