Albuquerque, N.M.—U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano announced today the formation of the Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC) Southwest Border Task Force, a diverse group of national security experts charged with examining the Department’s efforts along the U.S.-Mexico border and providing advice and recommendations directly to the Secretary.

“This task force, comprised of law enforcement, elected officials and national security experts from around the country, will advise the Department on key issues facing communities along the Southwest border,â€

Andrea Bazan is President of Triangle Community Foundation. She serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Council of La Raza, and is a member of the Leadership Council of Hispanics in Philanthropy.

Now we've got LaRaza watching our border. Sweet! Probably to make sure all the little illegal alien workers get across safely.

What a waste of time and money. Secure the border, building the fencing, find jail space for the illegals, and enforce workplace laws. It's not that difficult.

This is so disgusting! The border and Mexico are immersed in violence and deadly drugs and terrorist threats and Janet Napolitan's response is to create a plutocratic "advisory committee" stocked with political appointees from La Raza like Andrea Bazan.

Ridiculous!

How much you wanna bet we will hear from this "advisory panel" shortly claiming the best thing for us to do is legalize the illegals and make them American voters?

According to their website, the Insitute of the Americas is located on the campus of the Univ. of California at San Diego. They describe their mission as "Promoting public policies for development, trade, and investment, good governance, and REGIONAL INTEGRATION", so it evidently is yet another academic precursor to and enabler of the SPP and eventual NAU.

Gee they must have overlooked one of the most experienced border state Sheriffs,Sheriff Joe Arpaio. I'm sure it was just an oversight on their part.

Some people have such slow learning curves I could cry for them if I wasn't so very with them. LOL LaRaza on the Border is a good one. Maybe the Drug Cartels will meet them there, too. They are going for a reunion?

Why would anyone appoint a member of the racist group LaRaza to sit on this panel?

The goal seems to be the complete decimation of our country. Why else would they leave the borders virtually open for any terrorists and/or criminal to enter our country and be given welfare and free services? And/or why would they even be considering giving Amnesty to 12-40 million of the lowest skilled illegals that have ever been on our shores?........All of this while we are simultaneously being unfairly taxed for anything that moves..... While we are losing our jobs and homes.........and the government is taking over our health care and our industries. And the government is trying to take away our guns and our freedom of speech........and any other freedom that they feel will impede on them completely controlling us.

Wake up Americans! This newest border security is a representation of the more dubious criminal acts our government is going to lodge at us.

We the people must rise up and take our country back!
