I just got an update from a fellow Tennessean.


Okay, we're back from a short hiatus after the (sh)amnesty bill went down in flames in the U. S. Senate. Looks like the coffee-break is over, however, as it seems the opposition never rests (having big bucks from corporate donors helps in this area). Just during the past week, the pro-open borders crowd and their supports in the U.S. Congress have devised new ways to effectively shaft the American people in the hopes that we aren't still paying attention.



According to CapWiz , an amendment has been added to the Farm Bill reauthorization that will provide an amnesty for illegal aliens engaged in agricultural work and their spouses and children. This amendment also relaxes the standards for H-2A agricultural guest worker visas.



The second subversive proposal is adding the DREAM act to the Department of Defense Spending bill (HR-1585) that is currently being debated in the Senate.



We encourage EVERYONE to get back on those phones and tell our Senators and Representatives that we are STILL watching and will NOT tolerate ANY bill, amendment or provision that grants ANY benefit to those illegally within our borders.



As a side note, The U. S. Department of Health and Human Services is now attempting to aide those who came here illegally through the utilization of 'coyotes' (illegal alien guides) by calling them 'victims of human trafficking'. Since when does someone who PAYS a smuggler become a victim? Here's the email that was sent out by another new pro-illegal alien organization here in Nashville:

We will officially launch the Nashville Rescue and Restore coalition on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 with a morning press conference followed by an afternoon training session at the Sheraton Nashville Downtown hotel.



During the press conference, HHS will recognize members of the Nashville coalition and ensure that local media attending are aware of your participation in helping victims affected by trafficking.



The interactive training will focus on specialized technical assistance including, but not limited to:



Victim identification strategies;

How to connect victims to services; and

Local awareness activities.

It seems that not only are private corporations and businesses supporting the demise of our Nation but, the very federal agencies that we are forced to support through taxation are also aiding and abetting the Balkanization of our Nation.



This event follows closely on the heels of the announcement by Rep. Steve King (R-IA) that the U.S. government is probably the biggest employer of illegal aliens in the country!!



People, we are being sold down the river to usher in the North American Union and it WILL come to fruition unless YOU get involved and stay in contact with our elected officials. Remember, too many times these officials never even read the bills and amendments they vote for – some staffer reads them and then makes a recommendation as to how the officials should vote. We cannot let these bills and amendments slip under the congressional radar and, by placing calls and sending emails and faxes, we CAN stop this insanity in its tracks.
