Washington, 22 January.- The conference of U.S.mayors, that will gather more than 250 local mayors tomorrow January 25, will seek the establishment of immigration reform that offers permanent residence and citizenship to the more than 12 million undocumented that reside in the country.

In the 76 winter meeting in Washington, the U.S. mayors will recommend the approval of this measure that also pursues "to improve border security and fortify economic prosperity" of the country, says the organization of the conference.

Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon will be among those mayors asking for amensty for illegal aliens.
