It's nothing but the same old shell game they play every time they want to kill something without looking like they want to kill it.

See, the only way to pay for a fence is to take money away from something else, like DHS, so of course we can't do that!

Of course, the US government has no problem coming up with $15.2 million last year to fund La Raza, or $20 billion to fight AIDS in Africa, or money for pay raises for everyone in Congress.

But funding that fence - gee, we'd like to folks, but there just isn't any money left over for it.

Hmmmm...Well Senators, here's a thought...

How about we give our troops a 2 month furlow, and bring them home.

That would be two months without the Iraqi war going on, so there's your $2 billion dollars.

NOW BUILD THE DAMN FENCE....
