Senate Immigration Bill Is Insulting And Irresponsible

There is a great deal wrong with the immigration bill being considered in the Senate (S 1639), yet, like Dracula, it keeps rising from the dead. It continues to stalk the halls of Washington’s corridors of power due to the support of shameless politicians, some of whom want to make sure U.S. businesses have an endless supply of low wage labor and others who have cast themselves as architects of a new world order in which secure borders disappear and sovereign nations become nothing more than economies.

After a Tuesday vote in the Senate revived the bill, Senator Ted Kennedy, D-Mass., said the action was “a major step forward for our national security, for our economy, and for our humanity.â€

The immigration bill is an insult to every american and legal immigrant. What has happened to our Senate when they no longer listen the people. There are spending to long in the Senate and not enough time with the people. Never thought I would say this but we need term limits for the Senate.
