WASHINGTON (AFX) -- The Senate Finance Committee announced Friday that it will hold a "mock markup" of the Central American Free Trade Agreement on Tuesday at 10 a.m. ET. The meeting will give members of the panel the opportunity to review and make recommendations on proposed legislation to implement the trade pact with five Central American nations and the Dominican Republic. House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Bill Thomas, R-Calif., said earlier this week that his panel will hold its mock markup shortly after the Senate panel acts. Once the markups are complete, the administration will formally submit legislation to implement the trade deal
