I don't think the compliment is intended as as some sort of praise of his character. We all know that he is an evil, despicable excuse for a human being. But when it comes to manipulating the process and other members to vote for this garbage he is extremely effective. I wish we had a couple of people on our side who were as ruthless in thwarting the open borders agenda as he was in foisting it upon the public.

You bet. The bastard is scrambling faster than Michael Vick on speed, which is why we need to stop this in its tracks. There haven't been any firm no votes since Ben Nelson and Mark Pryor came out against DREAM, and as far as I know Pryor hasn't said he's opposing cloture.

You are correct. I was not really giving him praise. I believe we really need house and senate members that can manuver on their feet and out manuver the dirty dog, Reid.

I just listened to NPR on the immigration issue. The UOM professor on the show was totally sympathic, as usual, and is living in her own world of education biased robots. The realclearpolitics spokesperson had a much more realistic view, believing the root of the immigration problem (lack of immigration process, securing our borders, and enforcement of existing laws) needs to be resolved before even considering an amnesty bill. He was unfortunately, optimistic that the bill will not pass in the senate. I disagree that Reid is working his butt off to make sure it will pass.

Here is why we need enforcement and why I am so sick of rights groups:

MINNEAPOLIS - Dozens of workers at Chipotle restaurants in the Twin Cities have been fired. An immigrant rights group said the employees lost their jobs after the feds starting searching for undocumented workers.

Brad Sigal with the Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee said around 50 workers lost their jobs after so-called “desktop raidsâ€
