Yes Vortex, I know that part of it and wasn't implying, or even saying, that it was the US who had cheated the Bracero participants out of their due wages and benefits....although would either of us be surprised if the Mexican government would like for those they bilked to think it was this country

What I was saying was that it's possible there might be some confusion going on where people are misunderstanding what they have read, or heard, or have just been plain misinformed.....about the dispute over the Bracero program having been ironed out....taking it to mean that the US is granting SS to illegal aliens
