Exactly. They will word the legislation such that they can tell the American people that illegal aliens aren't covered. But the plan is then to later amnesty all of them anyway. They will word the legislation such that any legal U.S. resident is eligible for medical coverage, so later the amnestied aliens will be covered.

Besides, as Baucus says, illegal aliens get health coverage NOW anyway:

Why don't the American tax-payers just pay for health insurance for ALL Mexican citizens? Why discriminate and just pay for the Mexican citizens who have illegally snuck across our border and invaded our country? I know not all illegals are Mexican, so maybe we should pay for health care for ALL third world countries.
