San Diego student rescued by Baja detectives

TIJUANA — Three days after she was abducted near the San Ysidro border crossing, a 21-year-old San Diego student was rescued by Baja California detectives working with the FBI.

The victim is a U.S. citizen with residences on both sides of the border who met her abductors while partying at a Tijuana club, authorities said

“They began watching her, and perhaps it occurred to them that the young woman might have some money, given that they knew she also had a residence in the United States,â€
