Sex offender sentencing delayed in Franklin County court
By TERRY TALBERT Staff writer

The sentencing of a 26-year-old former Waynesboro man guilty of sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl has been delayed for two weeks, pending completion of a sex offender assessment report that was ordered for him.
Christian Luna Hidalgo, who pleaded guilty to aggravated indecent assault of a child, is currently serving a five- to 10-year prison term at Camp Hill for physically abusing the same child, and two other children, one 11 months old and one 7 years old.

The little girl's arm was broken by Hidalgo, officers said.

Hidalgo pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of children in connection with the earlier cases.

It was afterward that police learned about the sexual abuse.

Investigators said in an affidavit that Keefer performed sexual acts on the child on more than one occasion.

He was originally charged with three counts of child rape, and two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse.

An illegal alien, Hidalgo will be turned over to federal authorities after his time is served for possible deportation
