Immigrants Denounce Press Hysteria; Rally for Youth and Families

Alarmed at a rising anti-immigrant hysteria in the Chronicle and other media sources, an impressive coalition of 27 organizations rallied in front of City Hall yesterday to defend San Francisco’s Sanctuary Ordinance – and to demand that the feds not deport immigrant youth who are charged with crimes. The Sanctuary Ordinance does not hurt – but rather improves – public safety in San Francisco, as it encourages immigrant communities to report crimes to the police. As Mayor Gavin Newsom flip-flopped on how the City responded to Honduran teenagers charged with drug dealing, San Francisco has been front and center in the war on immigrant families – with the right-wing Minutemen planning to hold a rally today in front of City Hall. Yesterday’s message was clear: don’t separate families, don’t deport kids who have spent most of their lives in this country, and preserve San Francisco’s status as a Sanctuary City.

It's gone on to long . Time to end this party of Illegals run our Nation. We do not want them nor need them . Taxs they in relation to Social Benfits cost is a Huge Win Win for them . While killing America , these seem Illegals send more money back to Mexico than they spent in the states.

Articles like this one will do nothing for so called "immigrants" in sanctuary SF. We US cut off ALL federal funds for sanctuary cities as they are violating federal laws.

If we had a real president and not some clown imposing as one, ICE would have showed up with a few hundred buses and an armed division to round them all up. That's after they indicted Newsome.

This mob mentality exhibited by these people is disturbing. Even more disturbing, is our governments refusal to enforce the law against these people. We allow these people to gather and openly demand the laws of this country be ignored! This after one of their beloved illegals virtually wiped out an entire family, leaving a wife and mother in ruins! These people are beyond disgusting!!

Is this what they call "living in the shadows?" These scofflaws seem to make it from beneath the "shadows" everytime there is some pro-illegal invader rally! They even have enough money to purchase their signage, complete with their beloved spanish emblazoned across the front!
