With the latest news that another group of illegal aliens, (illegal immigrants, invaders, etc.) are in the process of filing litigation against a law enforcement officer persecuted and convicted of some silly charge, it makes one wonder who is footing the bill for the attorneys? Surely the poor destitute “guest workers” who only want a share of the American Dream that will be paid for by the rest of us can’t afford the retainer that would be required for filing suit against a $20,000.00 per year deputy sheriff. In the name of fair play, would it be too much to ask these slip-and-fall lawyers to make public the source of funding for their actions? Perhaps they are paid in pesos from the new seat of the U.S. Government, Mexico City.

Four of our hard-working border patrol agents and a deputy sheriff in Texas, have been the victims of the United States and ALL of its resources available to make sure that these men who are not over-paid by any stretch of imagination, are held responsible for trying to enforce OUR laws. If anyone cares to read about how these men were investigated, charged and convicted, don’t read the government’s case. I submit that Mr. Johnny Sutton, U.S. Attorney for the region that covers the part of Texas along the border, that he is being paid by the U.S. for acting as an agent of a foreign government. George Bush’s administration needed to fire one more U.S, Attorney, unless Sutton was only following orders – of both governments.

By copy of this letter to all of Idaho’s U.S. Senators and Representatives, I am demanding an expedited investigation of how the illegals were brought back into the U.S. with immunity to testify against these gentlemen. Based on the results of that investigation, I believe that each of these men has to be PARDONED, reinstated, and made whole financially. As for Agent Sipe, how can we bring back his marriage, wrecked by this fiasco? As for Agent Brugman, how can we even look him in the eyes long enough to sincerely apologize and help him regain his dignity? For Agents Ramos and Compean, it will be easier; release them now! Then there is Deputy “Gilmer” Hernandez, who only wanted to be a Deputy Sheriff for the man whom he highly respected, Sheriff Letsinger, Edwards County, Texas, and to be a good husband, father and citizen. How can we ever reward him for trying to uphold the law and then being persecuted after the Texas Rangers saw no crime, and the federal agents yanking him out of his home and initiating this nightmare? A good start would be to get him out without waiting one more day!

I am a veteran, Viet Nam era, and while I saw no combat type action, I did serve. I have always obeyed the laws of these United States, and have paid my taxes as law charters me to. As of this moment, I am ashamed of my country that would even consider doing this to these fine men. How can we have law enforcement, if we are not going to stand up for these men and women who risk their lives constantly? Do we have anyone in our government that will do the right thing? Earn this American’s vote and support and free/compensate these men and uphold our existing border and immigration laws. Will we eventually evolve to vigilante law enforcement after we insure that our law enforcement officers can no longer do the job?
