WINNIPEG -- A man from Los Angeles may finally get to meet the Internet girlfriend he tried to sneak across the Canadian border, losing most of his fingers and toes to frostbite in the process. Charles Gonsoulin, 41, will spend another month recovering in the medical ward at the Winnipeg Remand Centre, where he is awaiting deportation back to the United States after pleading guilty to immigration violations.
