MIAMI SHORES - Immigration agents and the Broward Sheriff's Office tracked down and arrested a Haitian citizen who is wanted in the Bahamas for a 2007 murder, federal officials said today.
David St. Remy, 35, listed by the Bahamian government as one of their nince "most wanted" fugitives, was captured in Miami Shores on Tuesday with another man, Kervin Occean, 28. Both are Bahamian natives with Haitian citizenship, and both had previously been deported from the U.S.
They are being charged with entering the U.S. illegally after deportation. They face up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
