American Worker Displacement Resumes—Case For Immigration Moratorium Strengthens

The story is numbingly familiar: 263,000 jobs lost in September, unemployment at a 26-year high (9.8%), 7.2 million jobs lost since the recession began at the end of 2007.

Agree here. We are slicing our pie in too many ways, while those paying taxes to support this nation (or the pie) are getting a smaller piece daily. And whatever piece of pie the taxpayer has left is being winnowed by giving foreign aid, supporting our military in non-war zones, and giving the country's resources to those that have no right to be here. And if the governments on all levels have a shortfall, just sell the infrastructure that was built by the taxpayers. Let the private companies offshore jobs, and those that remain, go ahead and insource labor for cheap.
Up the raq sewage creek without a paddle, IMO.

In the residential construction industry, illegal aliens have started their own companies and have other illegal aliens working for them. American contractors/subcontractors cannot find work because they are underbid by the illegals. There seems to be no end in sight for displaced American workers as these illegals, with their multiple government benefits, can always work for less.
