This in my mind again (I've considered it before) if all the money spent on lobbyist for health care and illegal immigrant rights was invested in true healthcare charities - might all things and beings do better?

Example: when my brother was diagnosed with polio in 1955 or 56 by the time my parents and brother arrived at the orthopedic hospital, a distance of 65 miles, our primary care doctor (as we call them now) and the ortho. hosp. already had March of Dimes arranged for to "take care of the bill."
