I don't understand since he had already violated an immigration agreement why he had to go to immigration court instead of just being deported. I thought when they had entered the country legally and had an expired visa as in his case that ICE could just pick them up and deport them for immigration violations especially if they've committed a criminal office while here, like a DUI.
