VISTA: The Sheriff's Department is seeking the public's help in its investigation of a man who authorities said may have been masturbating inside a van near a school bus stop recently. The man is in custody in an unrelated matter.

Sheriff's officials were notified that a van was seen in the area frequently during the past two weeks and that a man was making movements that suggested he might have been masturbating while children were getting on the bus in the morning.

Deputies who approached the van yesterday found a man inside with his pants down. Numerous schoolchildren were in the area at the time, sheriff's officials said.

The bus stop is in the vicinity of Palmyra Drive and Primrose Avenue in an unincorporated area of Vista.

The man produced documentation that turned out to be a fraudulent resident alien card, and he was arrested on suspicion of possession of fraudulent documents, sheriff's officials said.

Anyone who has encountered the man or has information about the case is asked to call Detective Debra Haverkost at the sheriff's Vista station at (760) 940-4912 or San Diego County Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-TIPS, where callers can remain anonymous.

The man was described as Latino, 32 years old and clean-shaven. The van was described as an early-1990s blue Chevrolet Astro

then go to Home Depot and get some fellow illegal alien day labor and come to your neighbors to work?

Does he install carpet?
Does he do interior painting?
Plumbing or elect work in homes?
Tile baths and kitchens?
Clean Rugs?
Work for the school system?
Is he a handiman at the PreSchool or the Day care?
Cut grass at the playground?
Clean pools?
Amusment park employee?
Work anywhere our kids hang out?
