It is hard to imagine that doing the right thing can be construed as being the wrong thing to do. Enforcement of the law is what every citizen expects in any community; in fact is it demanded. Why then is moving to enforce longstanding federal law considered wrong?

Despite the majority of American voters supporting the enforcement measures of SB 1070, the debate still seems to wage on. A measure which was denounced by US Attorney General Eric Holder before he openly admitted to not reading the 12 page legislation. A measure which provoked the Los Angeles City Council to boycott Arizona by suspending business travel to the state and ending future contracts with the state. This all in response a state moving forward in enforcing at the state level, laws the federal government has all but blatantly ignored. The Mexican President, Felipe Calderon also denounced the measure calling for Mexicans to avoid travel in Arizona. American citizens that are Mexican that is, as well as those here illegally. Together, standing side by side this morning, President Barak Obama and Mexican President Felipe Calderon denounced the measure with President Obama stating,

"I want everyone, American and Mexican, to know my administration is taking a very close look at the Arizona law," Obama said. "We're examining any implications, especially for civil rights. Because in the United States of America, no law-abiding person — be they an American citizen, a legal immigrant or a visitor or tourist from Mexico— should ever be subject to suspicion simply because of what they look like."

When asked about President Calderon’s description of the Arizona being “discriminatoryâ€

"It is now a mere matter of time before this mindset of demonizing the enforcement of law costs American lives. As we debate the illegal immigration “issue,â€

It's a very real concern. We discussed it at length 5 years ago when I first joined ALIPAC. It's the only inevitable outcome when foreign governments have send advance forces into a country posing as workers and drug dealers when they are in fact foreign nationals fighting for their home country not ours.

The money we waste sending to Mexico to fight their War on Drugs currently over $1 billion a year is funneled right into the hands of the drug cartels they're supposed to be stopping.

Our government can't be that stupid not to see this, so our government is treasonous and in cahoots with the very entities who seek our demise.

when I was in the Navy, if was standing a watch and knowingly allowed
invaders onto my post I would be tried for derilection of duty.

If I took up with, comforted and publicly sided with and promoted the
leader of those invaders while denouncing my own country men, I'd be
    tried for sedition.

Obama needs to brought up on charges, period!

You know, there is a simple answer to all of this, simply ask everyone who comes in contact with law enforcement about their immigration status whether their white, black, hispanic, asian, etc. This would completely disarm the othersides argument.
