Is there no limit to this woman's chutzpah? In praise of the DREAM Act, allowing those who violated our immigration laws to attain citizenship, the San Francisco leftist invokes the Founders. Via RCP: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/ ... dence.html

People who violate our laws make America more American? The Founderrs believed in a borderless world? What is this woman smoking?

By passing the DREAM Act, House Democrats affirm that they live in a dream world. Rewarding those who broke our law with membership in the body politic mocks those immigrants who followed the rules and went through the agonizing immigration procedures, in many cases waiting years and years. The Dems claim that those being rewarded bear no fault, asd their parents brought them here as children. Then why reward the parents, who will qualify as care-givers, and once citizenship is attained by their children, will qualify for preference under the doctrine of family reunification.

The DREAM Act hangs out a sign to the world: come illegally here with children, and you can jump the line. Only fools follow the immigration law.

In a way she is correct, our founders revolted against their leaders, these amnestied reconquistas will revolt in the future against American rule in favor of Aztlan.

My only disagreement with this is that I believe that the Demos know exactly what they're doing. Their true goal is to lock up control of Congress and the White House, and they're counting on all those undocumented Democrats to assure that control.

Recenlty we've seen signs that Mexicans - like so many other Americans - recognize that illegals are undercutting them, their children, and their grand children. The Demos just haven't adjusted to that. But make no mistake about it, pandering to illegals is a power grab.
