*Survey Finds Most Americans Favor Deportation for Illegal Immigrants*
NewswireToday - /newswire/ - *Provo, UT, United States, 07/05/2007 -
Qualtrics survey software, a leader in the market research industry
scanned all 50 states on the subject of immigration. The results showed
68 percent of respondents favor deportation as an answer to illegal
immigration --- with family*.
Thirty-five percent of Americans feel that first priority should be
given to legal immigration applicants who have U.S. resident family
members --- according to a nationwide Qualtrics survey.
Qualtrics survey software, a leader in the market research industry
scanned all 50 states on the subject of immigration. The results showed
68 percent of respondents favor deportation as an answer to illegal
immigration --- with family, then employability being the priority
criteria for their legal counterparts.
The survey showed 28 percent of respondents feel employability should be
given the most weight in a potential immigrant's application for
residency, with 26 percent favoring a first-come-first- served policy.
Most respondents --- 35 percent --- felt family relationships should
determine priority status.
"Immigration is a hot, but sensitive topic of debate among the political
community right now," says Ryan Smith, Qualtrics Director. "We know what
our leaders and candidates think, but we hoped an anonymous survey to a
large panel would help discover the average American's opinion on the
issue."
While deportation was the most popular solution offered for illegal
immigration, 20 percent of respondents say immigrants should be given
legal status and a chance at citizenship. Ten percent are happy with the
current system, and the remaining two percent want to see illegal
immigrants in jail.
When asked about funding for national border security, 68 percent want
to see an increase, and 27 percent are happy with the status quo.
Considering legal immigration to the United States, most Americans feel
it should be more difficult --- with precedence going to those with U.S.
family-members.
"It's interesting to see a strong, American value like family
relationships come through in an analysis of survey data on a topic like
this," Smith says. "It's satisfying --- in a strange, statistical kind
of way."

Anything but deportation is short term solution. It must become a waste of time to come to the us illegally. The countrys of origin must alsopay for these deportations or have forgien aid cut off.Deportation remember is also the self deportation when there are no jobs, free stuff and losing all possesions whish will be sold at auction -if you leave on your own you can take with you or sell them.

Hi James62,
Thanks much for posting that badly needed survey.
The Netnewswire/Qualtrics survey needs to be expanded to find out how American citizens feel about their jobs going to NON-immigrants, specifically H-1Bs, H-4s, L-1 non-immigrant visa card holders.
Such a survey needs to key on deportation of these NON-immigrants as a solution to the upcoming recession and the unemployment that results.
Over a million non-immigrant visa card holders currently occupy US jobs with 130,000 new arrivals per year (thanks to Hillary Clinton and John Cornyn).
Suggested questions for the next survey:
1. What is the best remedy for the upcoming recession?
A. Become a crime victim of illegals
B. Give up your job to H-1B visa holders
C. Obey your new Brahmin overlords
D. DEPORT all H-1B, other NON-IMMIGRANTS, and ILLEGALS
2. What is the best solution for technical unemployment?
A. Train your H-1B replacement, then become homeless
B. Become a crime victim of the MS-13
C. Obey drug dealers
D. DEPORT all H-1B, other NON-IMMIGRANTS, and ILLEGALS
3. What is the best long-term economic solution?
A. Vote for Hillary
B. Bow down 5 times/day to the Council on Foreign Relations
C. Give your car and house keys to an illegal.
D. DEPORT all H-1B, other NON-IMMIGRANTS, and ILLEGALS
4. What is the best remedy for the crimes of indentured servitude, murder, rape, larceny, and other felonies?
A. Pay the MS-13s for protection.
B. Give your wallet to a H-1B
C. You owe your job to the H-1Bs and illegals
D. DEPORT all H-1B, other NON-IMMIGRANTS, and ILLEGALS
5. So what's the bottom line?
DEPORT ALL ILLEGALS, INCARCERATE THEIR EMPLOYERS
DEPORT ALL H-1Bs
DEPORT ALL L-1s
"Senator, what part of DEPORT are you having so much difficulty understanding?"
What part of "We don't owe our jobs to India" are you unable to understand, Senator?
