Suspected Illegal Immigrants Bail Out of Vehicle

GILA RIVER, Ariz. - DPS and Gila River Police are looking for the occupants of a vehicle who fled on foot into the desert.

It happened just before 8:45 p.m., along the I-10 near Riggs Rd. Officers were pursuing the vehicle when it suddenly drove into the desert and a group of suspected illegal immigrants bailed out.

Officers immediately set up a perimeter and called in a helicopter to aid in the search.

So far, no arrests have been made.
