Montco woman sentenced in immigration case

A King of Prussia woman was sentenced yesterday to 21 months in federal prison for denying on an immigration application that she had been a prostitute or had procured anyone for prostitution.
Natalya Goretska, 29, a Ukraine national, was charged with making a false statement to the Department of Homeland Security in her application to become a permanent U.S. resident. She was arrested in December.

Goretska had helped secure clients via the Internet for a Russian prostitution business known as Berenika, which employed adults and minors to work as prostitutes in Moscow, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Philadelphia. Berenika was owned and operated by, among others, Andrew Mogilyansky of Richboro, who is awaiting sentencing for sex charges in the case, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

Goretska also was fined $5,000. She faces immigration removal proceedings. - Inquirer staff
