Note they say summer. The time illegals will be picking produce. Between the illegals and TPS given to Haitians this should not surprise anyone.

Florida May Hit Record High Unemployment In 2010
TALLAHASSEE (CBS4) ― AP

The news is not good for South Floridians looking for a job.

A group of state labor experts say Florida's unemployment could reach an historic peak this summer of 12.3 percent, nearly a half percentage point higher than the 11.9 percent mark set in May 1975.

But that does not mean that the economy is once again getting worse. The numbers show while there may be fewer layoffs, the unemployment rate will rise as discouraged workers return to the job market, according to CBS4 news partners The Miami Herald.

The Economic Estimating Conference reports said we can expect the highest unemployment rate between July and September. From there things will get a little better and by the end of the year the unemployment rate is forecast to fall below 10 percent.
