COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa -- A presidential candidate opened up his campaign office in Council Bluffs on Saturday.

Colorado Republican Rep. Tom Tancredo said Iowa is the place to be to be most effective in his run for president.

"I don't have the $25 million others have in the bank. The only way I can get a message out is by individual states, like Iowa, doing a primary, and people paying attention," Tancredo said.

Tancredo's focus is immigration reform. He also attended an immigration protest in Omaha while he was in the area.

I can't think of a better candidate to give my financial support to at this time. He will get the anti-immigration message out on the national level. If his support grows perhaps other candidates will pay more attention to the illegal alien invasion.

I agree, we the people need someone who is listening to us and will act on what the American people want. It is time for the Media and the Corporations that own them to understand that we the people will pick our president and we will not be brainwashed to believe that the only presidental options we have our the candidates media chooses to report on.
