Taxpayer money can be used to help illegal aliens recover..

A recent directive from two disaster-relief agencies reveals that taxpayer money can be used to help illegal aliens recover from floods and other calamities.

Following September's flooding in Georgia, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) issued a joint statement assuring "foreign nationals here legally" that they were eligible for disaster aid.

In addition to people with a legal permanent resident card — known as a "green card" — "other non-citizens who can apply with FEMA include those with legal resident status because of asylum, refugee status, parole status, suspension of deportation status or status as victims of domestic violence," according to the statement.

But only one member of a household needs to be eligible to qualify the entire household for aid, Government Security News observes.
"So parents and guardians may apply for assistance on behalf of a minor child here legally," according to FEMA and GEMA.

In other words, an alien with a child who was born in the United States and is therefore a citizen can receive disaster aid even if that alien is in the country illegally.

And in the case of a household with "mixed immigration status," the statement notes, "FEMA does not collect information on the immigration status of other household members."

I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Lets face it. Illegal invaders can get virtually anything they want in our country via their anchor babies. They can get government aid, welfare, food stamps, WIC, housing subsidies, etc. You name it, they can get it! It wouldn't surpirse me one bit to learn that illegal invaders are getting drivers licenses / jobs using their anchor babies social security numbers.

    What a mess!

    Anchor Babies

This goes back to the Civil War and how to handle the children of slaves. That was when the Anchor Baby laws were put into affect. The country was in a delima of their own making. Japan, etc. has no laws like this. If you are born in a hospital there, and you are from another country, no big deal - you are NOT a Japanese Citizen.

Also, all of the European Union countries (the original ones) have now changed their anchor baby laws, so they NO LONGER allow anchor babies. Ireland was the last of the original EU countries to do this, in approximately 2005. I will find the article about this.

Other countries have had the same anchor baby explosion problem, so it is NOT our imagination that illegal aliens are purposely exploiting this policy, as some would like to claim. Its just that the U.S. gov is TOO traitorous to its citizens to change the law, as other countries HAVE done.

I've been through floods before and after Katrina. FEMA tightened their rules after Katrina because of the massive fraud by people claiming to have been affected.

They require ID from the homeowner. My mother was 86 in the last flood and since she does not drive, she had to show her citizenship papers, along with copies of tax/utiliy bills.

Salvation Army and Red Cross are not allowed to ask legal status, but FEMA certainly did. This was in 2007.
