Tea Party protesters gather at Ark. Capitol steps

Last minute taxpayers are rushing to the post office to get that April 15th postmark on tax day. But members of the "Taxed Enough Already" group or tea party say they don't want to pay another cent.

The post office is open until midnight so folks can pay their state and federal income tax. But the tea party has been rallying across the state, unhappy about where their tax dollars are going.

Hundreds gathered on the capitol steps waving signs and banners saying America is going in the wrong direction.

"Our congress in Washington isn't listening to the people. I don't feel that they're representing us," Charlene Rogers said.

“We've got way too much government, and the federal government doesn't need to be involved near as much as it is,â€
