Buy American. Buy local whenever possible. Shop at a co-op. Plant a garden. Enjoy locally produced goods.

How long will it be til Tyson moves their chicken houses south of the border? Will your steak be cut in Mexico? An open border is for more than just car parts and tortillas.

If Kansas City is indeed an inland port to be linked with the NAFTA Super Hwy, Corn and beef could go south for processing, and finished steaks and tortillas could move north. Corn and wheat from the bread basket goes south, chicken and processed food return. When we become dependant on another country to process our food, will we have anything to say?

I try to do all this.

However, "Made in America" does not count in my book if it was made in America by illegal invader labor!
