    Are temp agencies a link in putting illegal immigrants to work?

    Check these busts:

    June 14, 2007: in Dallas, Texas, at the Fossil watch company, 31 illegal workers, employed by Simos Insourcing Solutions were arrested.


    June 15, 2007 170 illegal immigrants employed at a Fresh Del Monte Produce processing plant in Portland, Oregon. There were all edgy given fake Social Security cards by the temp agency who employed them, American Staffing Resources.

    March 29, 2007: Federal agents arrested 69 employees in Baltimore area businesses. They worked for sportswear fashion maker Under Armour Inc. Officials they were employed by a temporary employment agency, Jones Industrial Network.

    April 2006: A collection of temp agencies, conspired to employ illegal aliens, as well as legal aliens with no authorization to work in the U.S. They were also accused with conspiring to provide transportation, housing and fraudulent documents, all while profiting and laundering millions. The agencies were HV Connect, Inc. in Philadelphia and Canton, Ohio, and TN Job Service, Inc. of Philadelphia, Pennsauken, New Jersey, Canton, Ohio, and New Philadelphia, Ohio.

    October 23, 2003: 245 undocumented workers employed by the cleaning contractors were arrested from 60 Wal-Mart stores in 21 states including Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, Connecticut, Delaware, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.

    The Honesdale Police Department was one of the first law enforcement agencies to bring this alleged employment of illegal aliens to the attention of the Department of Homeland Security.

    ICE needs to go after these temp agencies and shut this crap down. The employers use the excuse that if any illegals ARE working for them it is the responsibility of the temp agency. I say fine BOTH the agency and the employer that contracts with them. They are BOTH responsible.
