If you live in Texas, you already know this. I lived there for five years:

This is going to legitimize criminal aliens and criminal migration, seeing as how much of the Hispanic population in Texas (1.6 million) is there illegally.

But then there's this little tidbit:

" 'If official counts could estimate the number of undocumented immigrants, whites would probably already be a minority in Texas,' Murdock said."

Now consider this:

"A company doesn't want to put itself in a place where it has to hire from a population with more health and education problems," said Mitchell Rice, director of the Race and Ethnic Studies Institute at Texas A&M.

Gee, does that mean a place with massive amounts of illegal immigration? Connect the dots. It's not hard. Immigrants who assimilate don't really have these problems. Illegal immigrants, who simply can't or won't assimilate, do.
