The Department of Public Safety said the report, first published by the Houston Chronicle, was not meant for public distribution.

“[T]hat report was inappropriately obtained and [the Chronicle was] not authorized to possess or post the law enforcement sensitive document,” department press secretary Tom Vinger said in an e-mail.
What?! You should have published the report the day it was written. Have you never heard of the Sunshine Law or Freedom of Information Acts? Do you not believe that Americans have the right to know that terrorists are entering our country through your state at the will of a Rogue President?

Fully securing the border would require the constant presence of an incredible number of troops — as many as 76,000, the report found. This summer, the surge sent about 1,000 National Guard soldiers to the border.
So send 76,000 troops or cops or armed deputized civilians to the border and secure it. What's the problem? I did a calculation a few years ago that sending civilian border guards to the entire Southern Border would cost about $3 billion a year that included equipment and other necessary expenses, if you paid them $20 an hour plus 20% in benefits. 6 guards per mile per shift, plus 2 rovers to cover for sick and vacation days, or 20 guards per mile over a 24 hour period. With 2,000 miles of border that was 40,000 guards. Not sure how you come up with 76,000 but whatever ..... that's a bargain compared to the $100 billion a year we're wasting with DHS.
