The Texas State Government Will Allow the Public to Fund Texas’ Border Wall Construct

The Texas State Government Will Allow the Public to Fund Texas’ Border Wall Construction

Much has been made about Texas’ efforts to secure its border while the Biden administration has largely put the issue on the backburner.

According to a report by Hayden Sparks at The Texan, Texans will likely have the chance to make financial contributions. Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced the border wall project last month.

He later went on an episode of the Ruthless podcast to talk about the wall and reveal that the public will be able to finance the project.

“[W]hen I do make the announcement later on this week, I will also be providing a link that you can click on and go to for everybody in the United States, or really everybody in the entire world, who wants to help Texas build the border wall, there will be a place on there where they can contribute to Texas building the border wall,” Abbott stated.

The Governor laid out how his office will be in charge of how donations will be and vowed that the contributions will be used for the border wall plan.

The governor explained that his office will oversee the proceeds from the fundraiser and the only use of any contributions will be for the border wall project.

When describing the illegal migration wave that’s swamping Texas’ border with Mexico, Abbott asserted that it’s like a “third world country” in a number of areas along the border due to the violence and social unrest taking place there.

When pressed with what Texas’s strategy will be with regards to border security, Abbott outlined security and legal measures.

“We have multiple strategies. One is we will first be adding fencing right along the border, which will slow people to some extent, but also it sets up a crime,” Abbott detailed.

“Anybody coming across the border who in any way tries to damage that fence, they are guilty of two crimes. One is trespassing, the other is vandalism. And because I’ve declared it a disaster, the penalties for those crimes have increased one or two notches.”

Abbott announced that he is working with members of the Texas legislature to carry out this border project. Throughout the 87th session of the Texas state legislature, there were unsuccessful attempts to establish a state border wall.

Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick also voiced his support for the border wall project declaring that “it is now imperative that Texas takes action.”

Abbott recently declared a state of disaster in a number of Texas counties due to the increased number of apprehensions at Texas’ southern border.
Approximately 180,000 crossings were recorded in May, with a third of the crossing being made up of minors and families.

The US is facing many existential crises ranging from mass migration to growing crime. Now is not the time to pontificate about ideologies like anarchism, libertarianism, or constitutionalism.

What these trying times require is decisive action to halt immigration and restore some semblance of order throughout the country. Although Abbott could have taken action earlier in his governorship, it’s reassuring to see him move forward with a border security plan during a time when there’s a veritable border collapse.

Penalties, fingerprint, no transporting illegals across state lines, send UACs back, and cut off the free stuff.

Shut these disgusting churches down facilitating the human trafficking and destroying OUR country. These churches are not above the law. Shut them down!

They can NEVER come back. And track down their damn illegal families and get them out too!
ILLEGAL ALIENS HAVE "BROKEN" OUR IMMIGRATION SYSTEM

DO NOT REWARD THEM - DEPORT THEM ALL
