There needs to be greater awareness of economic alternatives
Very few if any politicians who favor our side have made public statements regarding avenues the families with members on both sides of the border can do to improve the lot of relatives without breaking our laws.
Using the Mexicans situation as an example not singling them out it is like this. The average income of the Mexicans in Mexico is 1.86 an hour for illegal aliens it is $9.00 an hour. The cost of living index is lower in Mexico than it is here. Were constructive steps made toward family ownership of productive assets family living standards would rise enough to cause more Mexicans to want to remain where they are. It is not our duty it is the responsibility of their families to help them out but American political leaders can point out those programs which effectively do this.

Our movements Mexican American members could lead by example.I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. RIGHT ON, RICHARD!! Why in the hell should we be responsible for their situation. If they would concentrate their efforts to improving their own country, things would be better. But because we have a President who caters to Mexico, there isn't a backing for this. This is why we need to

A Win-Win Situation
Christians and Do-Gooders are completely free to donate all they want to our poor neighbors South-of-the-Border.
Senator Hillary Clinton paints anti-illegal-immigration groups as un-Christian and heartless.

If your land won't grow crops, you DON'T over to your neighbor's land and start growing crops. YOU IMPROVE YOUR OWN LAND. But it's just a lot EASIER to do the latter. They should have had these huge marches in MEXICO. I'm sure Fox is sitting back in glee watching all this, laughing at us, "stupid" Americans.

Mexico can grow crops but the people have been told coming up here regardless of the law will be easier.
Since NAFTA there has been a reduction in the village cultivation of corn. American style yellow corn which is used mostly for cattle feed in Mexico used to be highly taxed. The larger northern Mexican farm operations were producing yellow corn for the Mexican market.
After NAFTA allowed in cheap yellow corn the large commercial farms switched over to the white corn used for tortillas. Then Mexico's large flour mills which used to buy from the grain board representing the local villages started buying from these larger operators.
Without an open border young entrepreneurs would have bought village grain to feed livestock as smallstock herds and poultry flocks increased. Instead it was seen as easier to come up here.I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. This nonsense about lower prices because of cheaper labor, if you really look at the situation is a myth.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
