It is about the dollars and filling the pews in their congregations and organizations. It makes me sad to know that so many churches and pastors would support illegal immigration amnesty while hurting and sacrificing American lives, jobs, taxpayer dollars. These church leaders are supporting theft, fraud, lying, gangs, drugs, murder, etc. for it hides among the illegal population whether the individual or relatives and acquaintances. It follows illegal aliens. They bring poverty, enormous costs in education, disrupt communities, etc.

Churches send missionaries and their families to other countries, to countries the illegal aliens are citizens of, so they should encourage these people to return home and better their homelands, fight and march in their streets. Many of the vocal pastors and religious leaders are from those states and areas with large Hispanic populations. Texas for one. They have aligned themselves with George Soros, Obama, radicals, socialists, democrats, foreign nations who hate us, anyone who wants to destroy and fundamentally transform America.

Wrapped up in the pleas for amnesty for illegal aliens is also requests for more refugees, extensions or amnesty for those granted TPS.

All these Churches want is the MONEY.

So sad to see this , as many evangelicals claim to be prolife. If amnesty is granted , prolife legislation will never be passed, and other issues evangelicals claim to be of importance to them will fall by the wayside, as illegal aliens will forever vote for the party giving them handouts and ever more amnesties . Makes me wonder if evangelicals are truly deceived, or just care about lining their collection plates .

hattiecat, you make many good points. I do think many members are deceived. Maybe some leaders. Filling collection plates matter as well. Church attendees are often given a one sided view, using scripture to persuade, welcoming the stranger, etc. while ignoring that we are to obey the law of the land, not steal, bear false witness, etc. We are givers in the church to the poor, support missions and this can be turned against us on immigration matters. For me personally, this is deeply disappointing.

In my opinion, churches are lining up with the wrong side on this. You are right that those things the church at large cares about will be threatened as illegal aliens turned citizens will vote democrat and the church and Christianity will become an even greater target. Religious liberty for Christians will fall behind as greater accomodation to Islam, Sharia Law, atheism will infiltrate American society, government, laws, education. Illegal aliens and refugees are a tool, a Trojan horse to help achieve this.

It's all about the money. The pro-life movement is about the money. And it's destroying our country. Republicans are the minority because of these pro-life and anti-gay marriage positions. Republicans were neutral on these personal issues for most of our history, then something happened and suddenly there were these movements to use the federal government to discriminate against gay people and exploit pregnant girls and women for breeding purposes. I would like to see the Republican Party return to its roots and fight for personal freedom and individual liberty instead of religious beliefs. Americans have 100% religious freedom to think, believe and do whatever we want. It stops short however as it should with trying to use the force of federal law to invoke those beliefs on someone else who doesn't hold the same belief. It's why we have a separation of church and state in the United States.
