Lou Dobbs Tonight 9/18/08 Foreign Funds Pounce on U.S. Turmo

    Lou Dobbs Tonight
    Thursday, September 18, 2008

Tonight, the bailout of AIG exposed a deep vulnerability in the
market: the scarcity of cash. Sovereign wealth funds from
foreign (and sometimes hostile) countries have stepped in again
and again with the needed money for big financial firms. Morgan
Stanley was just the latest, finding a buyer in China’s SWF.

Is our financial crisis just an opportunity for rich investors
from the Middle East and Asia? Are we paying for the sins of
our policy failures by selling off America? We’ll have that
    story, plus:

    * The federal government has promised more than a half a
trillion dollars of taxpayer money so far this year to bail out
failing financial institutions. How many of these failed
institutions have lobbied congress for influence this year?
We’ll take a look at the connection between bailouts and
    influence peddling in Washington.

    * Another victory for American workers in Arizona. Yesterday,
the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the get-tough
employer sanctions law in the state. The law hits employers who
knowingly hire illegal aliens with strict penalties and in some
cases even strips businesses of their licenses. A lower court
upheld the same law in February. But open-borders and amnesty
groups along with the business lobby are considering yet
    another appeal.

    * Ten key swing states face major voting issues this
presidential election, according to a new report by Common
Cause and the Century Foundation. With voters expected to
turnout in large numbers in November, states still widespread
registration, identification, and voting machine problems that
    could corrupt our election.

Sure seems that way....know they've sold some of our toll ways, arguing now about the trains.......selling things that isn't theirs to sell to begin with.

Make ya a deal......I owe you money but you're free to take what my neighbor has as payment. LOL
