With every day this border remains open we become more like Mexico. But Pelosi and Reid have stated they will tear down the existing fence and open the border in the interest of free trade (cheap labor for Reid's casinos and Pelosi's vineyerds). They don't care how many innocent Americans are sacrificed in the interest of open borders and cheap labor.

The deputy probably figured he would be prosecuted and put under the jail for 20 years for firing on an illegal hispanic gang banger that just shot at him!

I can hear the ACLU now: "This poor young handicapped immigrant was only holding a stick to help him walk. The deputy only 'thought' he saw a shotgun. He found the handgun on his way home from the Catholic church where he frequently prays for a better life. Thank goodness the police showed up when they did at his home. The American people are under assault and our government remains too pc and apathetic to protect our border, our law enforcement, our citizens. The Chamber of Commerce and companies may get upset, trade may be interrupted and no matter what happens, keep the gates wide open.

Today on FOX they mentioned Texas, the border violence spilling over, Governor Perry and putting the military on the border as a possibility, but Kay Bailey Hutchinson didn't seem too keen on that idea. She mentioned a whole family, including a two year old being killed last week by the cartels in Mexico, and she highlighted the thousands of others that had been murdered there. What will it take for our government to act? Here we have a mayor and family from Mexico hiding in Texas because the cartels want to kill him. But with the violence here now, how can he avoid their wrath?
