Three Texas Counties Declare Border Emergency to Address Migrant Crisis

Jose Nino | Jul 4, 2022

According to Joshua Young of The Post Millennial, three Texas counties are expected to issue border emergency declarations on July 5, 2022 as these counties face an “unprecedented” migrant crisis at the southern border.

The New York Postreported that county officials in Goliad County, Kinney County, and Uvalde County will make an “important announcement about forthcoming emergency declarations” on July 5 in the city of Brackettville.

The situation at the border has gotten out of hand. One of the recent low points took place on June 29 when 46 dead migrants were discovered inside of an 18-wheeler in San Antonio, Texas.

Mass migration inflows have gotten out of hand in recent months. According to US Customs and Border Patrol statistics, there were 239,416 migrant encounters. These illegal alien encounters brought the total for the year, thus far, to north of 1.7 million.

Val Verde County Commissioner Robert Nettleton had choice words for the situation at the border. He said the following:

At the end of the day, the federal government is not doing its job and these local communities need to come up with a solution.

The Biden regime is clearly not interested in securing the border. Red states on the border, namely Arizona and Texas, must take charge of the immigration issue and secure the border. It’s abundantly clear that the federal government has no interest in assuming this task, thereby making this an issue that ambitious state governments should assume.

The feds only want to maintain mass migration status quo to the detriment of the Historic American Nation.
