    Maury search nets 13 illegal immigrants, police say

    At least 13 illegal immigrants are in Maury County Jail this afternoon, after a morning raid on a Columbia mobile home park, according to the sheriff’s office.

    The raid occurred around 7 a.m. at American Mobile Village on East Burt Drive, where police were looking for a man charged with raping a 15-year-old girl.


    The man was not found, but six of his family members were taken into custody, as were seven other people living in other mobile homes.
