Yep. ICE is understaffed to deal with the problem of illegal immigration.

You need to ask your congressmen/women to deal with this and allow local governments more enforcement abilities to deal with illegals.

They usually only put Holds on the worst of the worst and they don't have to pick them up when they complete their time at the local jail. ICE can say, turn them loose.

DHS and ICE need more temporary holding facilities, like tent camps to move the deportees more quickly.

This is the garbage we need to get away from in this country! Just being in this country illegally, in of itself, should be sufficient grounds for deportation!

Getting arrested for ANY crime should trigger an automatic deportation action! This country is still not serious enough with this shit! No illegal invader should ever be released back into the community! Why should we have to wait until they kill an innocent American citizen before we deport these criminals?

I don't know. We see raids and we see deportation. Maybe its a regional problem. They just picked up people in SF from their houses because they had deportation orders and didn't show up. Supposedly they were low level crimes.

There are lot of felonies that never even get to the Prosecutors. Failure to register with Selective Service is a federal felony--yet rarely prosecuted, especially against illegal aliens since the necessary records are so scarce. What about federal tax evasion? That's a felony,too.

Oh, are they talking about violent felons? Gosh, I should have know better. EEXXXCCCUUUUSE me!
