NASHVILLE — A Tennessee state trooper arrested a man Tuesday in Johnson City who is suspected of producing fraudulent documents including social security cards, resident alien cards, and Mexican driver licenses.

Trooper Kevin Kimbrough of the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s Criminal Investigations Division arrested Cristian Hernandez Reyes, 31, at his home on Wilson Avenue in Johnson City after executing a federal search warrant at the residence. Agents from the United States Secret Service, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and Johnson City police officers assisted in the search. Agents seized several items used to produce fraudulent documents from inside the home.

Trooper Kimbrough charged Reyes with two counts of criminal simulation. Reyes was transported to the Washington County Detention Center. Bond was set at $20,000. United States Homeland Security Investigations has placed an immigration detainer on Reyes.
