S.T.O.P. AMNESTY in 2010! Target: State by State (1st: MICH)

S.T.O.P. AMNESTY in 2010! Target: State by State

By Chad MacDonald, Published for Friday, April 9, 2010, 11:30 PM EDT - posted on NumbersUSA

The threat of Amnesty is an everyday battle on Capitol Hill. No matter where the President is, no matter where Congress is, NumbersUSA is laser-focused on stopping any blanket Amnesty in 2010 and giving unemployed U.S. workers the opportunity to control jobs currently held by illegal aliens. Don’t you think 25 million Americans need a shot at jobs before giving away 75,000 jobs a month to permanent foreign workers? You do the math. Government policy needs to protect the U.S. worker S.T.O.P. AMNESTY in 2010! Target: State by State.

On March 21, 2010, 60,000 open-border, pro-union, pro-amnesty supporters flooded the nation's capital to show their support for an instant mass Amnesty. The event got little news coverage. There were no major Senators or House members in attendance. And the reality is, NumbersUSA members visited more local District Offices, sent more faxes, participated in the virtual counter demonstration online, and made more phone calls on Monday than the people that traveled on buses to Washington.

Think about this some more. The NumbersUSA Local Power Team and their grassroots activists pre-empted this march in more than 400 local District Offices across the country on March 19. On Saturday, March 20 we started delivering 60,000+ faxes a day to Congress, and our national phone call campaign on Monday, April 22 kept the staff assistants busier than ever. We controlled the weekend. Health Care reform dominated the weekend. And no Amnesty was talked about in the halls of Congress. But that’s why we are here, and that why we launched S.T.O.P. AMNESTY in 2010! Target: State by State to protect America.

Here is an example of how S.T.O.P. AMNESTY in 2010! Target: State by State is working is working in Michigan today:

Last month Pro-Amnesty and Open-Border groups marched on the National Mall in Washington D.C. with a cry for Amnesty. We were there. We opposed the march and countered with our S.T.O.P. AMNESTY in 4 DAYS! campaign. Your efforts, and your help, and your activism worked to help protect the Nation and the U.S. worker.

We’re now focused on protecting Michigan from out of control illegal immigration. NumbersUSA is helping to put 25 Million Americans back to work by controlling the free flow of both legal and illegal immigrants into Michigan.

    Thanks Texas2step!

I'll try to make the Clinton Township event. It's a little further than I like to travel, due to sludge problems in my engine, but I will try.
