A man deported four times for prior criminal activity is back in jail on allegations he trafficked in about $11,000 worth of methamphetamine, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office reported.
Francisco Reyes-Vizcarra, 31, of Pollock Pines, Calif., was arrested Tuesday. His drug activities were under investigation for about a month as he allegedly worked between Placerville, Calif., and Stateline, sheriff's deputies said. On Tuesday, he was arrested in the parking lot of a Stateline casino with about 4 ounces of meth, authorities said.
Reyes-Vizcarra is charged with a felony count of trafficking, and has been placed on a no-bail hold. The case was referred to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The arrest was part of a joint effort between the Douglas County Sheriff's Office Street Enforcement Team, Tr-Net Task Force and the Western El Dorado Narcotic Enforcement Team, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office reported.
