The comments in the article copied below from Michigan voter Sharon Hoogendooorn are truly amazing. I copied only page one of the article. If we assume that almost every voter knows about the McCain-Kennedy amnesty scheme, we are wrong.

McCain faces little incoming fire

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — His opponents aren’t going after him. There isn’t a single third-party group hammering him in broadcast TV or radio ads. Even anti-tax advocate Grover Norquist of Americans for Tax Reform, a longtime adversary, is taking it easy on John McCain this time around.

In short, McCain is getting a free pass, and it’s beginning to show. In campaign events across western Michigan, voters are once again being reminded of the qualities of character that have made him an admired figure on the national political scene, without the distraction of ads designed to muddy that image.

Amazing how anyone in such positions not know About mcCain's positions and push for amnesty twice in two years-have they has thier head in the sand,do not own a TV or read newspaper.My biggest fear is that huckabee and thompson split vote in SC and give it to mcCain .He will use this to say that conservatives support his views on immigration.Mccain's worst problem is that he will not listen or care what ''little people '' think about issues -He thinks he is smarter than them and votes the way he wants after election is over.A south carolina victory will also let Lindsay Graham claim victory for his crap
