Only if they left the country first. Nobody liked that so he dropped it.

Exactly, he blows with the wind. He is liable to change is mind on anything at anytime. That's why it is hard to depend on him. Furthermore, we all know he supports a comprehensive immigration amnesty .... he has said as much.

That's true for anyone. I remember when you and many others opposed mass deportations in favor of self-deportation. I remember when we supported Trump's 70 point plan to fix both legal and illegal immigration, but opposed it when it was put into bills for Congress, because of a compromise concerning DACA to try and pass it. I remember when we were demanding tent cities on the border, now not so much. So people change their minds all the time to try to get something done.

You're full of it. I never opposed mass deportation, was just smart enough to know it wasn't going to happen. Furthermore, I still strongly support tent city detention camps along the border. These people should not be released into our interior, period!

This catch & release crap needs to end now.

Trump flips and flops more than a fish out of water. As I've said, he is not someone we can depend on.

It's one thing to change your mind because you've figured out a better way, however, that's not what is happening with Trump. Remember what he said on birthright citizenship? How about ending DACA immediately after entering the White House? How about the 30-ft rebar reinforced concrete wall? I would go on, but I'm sure you get the jest of what I'm saying. Trump talks a big game but routinely fails to follow through.

Oh really? That's not what I remember, but lets get to the now. Do you think mass deportations will happen now? If so, then why now and not then, when there are three times as many to remove now as there were then?

Generally when someone claims something won't work or won't happen, that means they oppose it. "Just sayin' ....".

But let us not split hairs.

Your famous quote arguing with me about mass deportations versus self-deportation:

"jackboots banging on the doors in the middle of the night dragging them out by their hair with the babies crying - bad optics".

And I asked, why not do it in the middle of the day? Better optics.

When does it matter when he tried to end DACA? He ended the DAPA and Expanded DACA in June of 2017 in less than 5 months of his presidency. He tried to end DACA 2012 2.5 months later. Anyone with two live brain cells still connected knew any effort to end DACA 2012 would be stopped by the courts, which it was. The best and only hope was if it could just expire and require no action. Any affirmative action to terminate was going to be challenged in the courts with a high probability that we would lose on DACA 2012, due to the much smaller scope, which is why the original lawsuit stopping DAPA and Expanded DACA filed by the 26 states DID NOT include it.

9th and 4th Circuits have both said it should continue because it wasn't terminated properly. There may be some others that come along who will rule differently. Supreme Court refused to hear it last year. And now with 2 different Circuit Court of Appeals with the same outcome, I seriously doubt the Supreme Court will hear it now, they'll force it to trial in the lower courts first. That's my guess anyway.

How do you want to accomplish an end to Catch and Release when there are court orders dictating families with children be released after 20 days, others after 6 months on bail, and some other groups within 60 days?

There's no question that everything is failing. Not enough wall yet, can't end catch and release, can't end sanctuary cities, can't secure the border, can't stop the caravans, can't stop phony asylum claims, can't stop the cartels, can't detain them, can't separate them, can't stop DACA, can't deport them, can't stop anything big, can't do anything important.

It's complete paralysis on illegal immigration across all 3 branches of government.

    NO AMNESTY

Don't reward the criminal actions of millions of illegal aliens by giving them citizenship.
