Gov. Bruce Rauner signed the Trust Act on Aug. 28, a measure prohibiting local and state police from searching, arresting or detaining a person simply because of their immigration status.
Despite this law, McHenry County families have been told their loved ones would be deported if they posted bond.
Kililis filed an emergency motion Friday asking that his client be released pursuant to the Trust Act, and Judge Sharon Prather said she did not have the authority to order the sheriff to do that.

The illegal alien was arrested for DUI, he was not searched, arrested and detained because of his immigration status.

These people are delusional and think they have free reign to break any laws they want and not be held accountable.

Susana Garcia Velasco said she believed what was going on was “ridiculous and unjust.”
Sorry Susio... the only thing here that is ridiculous and unjust is the fact that your whole family has been residing
and working illegally in our country for more than 16 years!

We need to recoup all the billions of dollars given to illegal aliens and I say we adopt a new 'DON'T TELL IMMIGRATION HOLD' bail policy on all illegal aliens.
Accept the bail payment first, and then tell the family members they have an immigration hold and will not be released.
