    Authorities Catch Several Illegal Immigrants in Weslaco

    WESLACO - Several illegal immigrants are now in Border Patrol custody after they were caught along a busy Weslaco street.

    CHANNEL 5 NEWS cameras caught several immigrants in custody. They were caught along Texas Boulevard and the expressway frontage road. DPS troopers assisted Border Patrol in the roundup.

    The immigrants are believed to be from Mexico. No word yet on how authorities tracked them down.

    Your story about illegal aliens being taken into custody in Weslaco is a perversion. Your writer calls these persons immigrants. Immigrants are invited to this country and undergo a legal process. Foreign nationals illegally present in the US are not any kind of immigrant. Shame on you for slurring immigrants.

    My comment is for the owners of the article, the news service that produced it. I did't know posters took ownership of posted articles. And there were no immigrants in this report.
