    Marion County Meth Strike Force Meth Investigation results in arrests, drug, cash & vehicle seizures.

    (SALEM, Ore.) - Marion County's Meth Strike Force detectives say they concluded a three month long drug investigation early this morning. Several people were arrested and meth and money were seized from several residences.

    Salem Police Lt. Jim Anglemier says the investigation began with information revealed during traffic stop. During the investigation, nearly four pounds of crystal methamphetamine was seized. Police place the street value of the meth at $90,000.

    Anglemier says four search warrants were served today and twelve "knock & talk" contacts were made at residences in Salem, Keizer, Woodburn and Beaverton.

    "Detectives seized over $51,000 in cash, 2.9 pounds of crystal methamphetamine, two vehicles, and other drug paraphernalia" he said.

    An 8-year old child was also taken into protective custody and released to staff of the Deptartment of Human Services.

    Assisting the Meth Strike Force were Detectives from Keizer Police Dept., Marion Co. Sheriff's Office, Marion Co. Parole & Probation, Polk Co. Interagency Narcotics Team, Salem Police Dept., Westside Interagency Narcotics Team, Woodburn Police Dept. and Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE).

    Five suspects were arrested, charged and booked into the Marion County Jail. The suspects were identified as:

    30-year old Gilberto Castro-Ordinola of Salem is charged with Racketeering, $40,000 bail, and 8 counts of Distribution of a Controlled Substance-Meth, $4 million bail, 4 counts of Felony Driving While Suspended with $160,000 bail and for a Parole Violation Warrant (Assault II) with no bail.

    31-year old Patricia Guzman-Soto of Salem faces charges of Racketeering, for which there is an associated $40,000 bail, 2 counts of Distribution of a Controlled Substance:-Meth with $1 million bail. 27-year old Jaime Hernandez-Limon of Salem faces charges of Racketeering which has a $40,000 bail amount, and two counts of Distribution of a Controlled Substance:-Meth, with $1 million bail.

    43-year old Delores Castro-Ordinola of Salem is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance:-Meth and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor. Police say she was cited & released.

    31-year old Alejandro Cabera-Medel of Keizer faces charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance:-Meth with $500,000 bail, and Distribution of a Controlled Substance:-Meth, with bail listed at $500,000.

    Police say two of the suspects, Gilberto Castro-Ordinola and Alejandro Cabera-Medel are previously deported felons.
